We’re seeking a dynamic (Senior) Business Development Manager (m/f/d) for our evolving Commercial Brands division at our Hamburg headquarters. In this pivotal role, you’ll leverage your strategic acumen, market analysis expertise, and persuasive skills to identify growth opportunities and drive business expansion. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in business development, profound fashion industry knowledge, and a passion for innovative market strategies.

Your Mission

You determine and evaluate opportunities for entering new markets or expanding existing ones, developing entry strategies that align with the company's premium positioning
You identify and acquire new potential prospects to expand our supplier and client base
You set up first calls/meetings with new prospects to evaluate potentials
You are responsible for all relevant coordinative tasks related to the onboarding of potential prospects
You collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, buying, logistics, and finance to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to business development for commercial goods
You gather and incorporate customer feedback into business strategies, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with partner expectations
You conduct market research and stay abreast of industry trends to identify new business opportunities
You coordinate with operations leaders to create specific solutions for potential partners
You act as a brand ambassador for Buying Labs, demonstrate passion and enthusiasm for the company's vision and drive enthusiasm for the organization's work

Your Profile

At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience in the field of business development
Results and process driven as a business development manager, ideally within an online B2B, fashion or accessories business
An existing commercial brand industry network is desirable
Highly organized and able to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to roll up sleeves in a scale-up atmosphere
Be prepared for occasional travel to meet with clients & suppliers attend industry events, and explore business opportunities
Fluent written and spoken English skills

Diese Rolle wird sich auf die Erweiterung unseres Netzwerks zusammen mit unserem Verkaufs- und Einkaufsteam konzentrieren und ist eine einmalige Gelegenheit, Teil eines wachsenden Unternehmens und ein wichtiger Treiber für dessen wirtschaftlichen Erfolg zu sein.

Deine Aufgaben

Du erkennst und bewertest Chancen für den Einstieg in neue Märkte oder die Erweiterung bestehender Märkte und entwickelst Eintrittsstrategien, die zur Premium-Positionierung des Unternehmens passen
Du identifizierst und gewinnst neue potenzielle Partner, um unser Lieferantennetzwerk zu erweitern
Du organisierst die ersten Gespräche/Meetings mit neuen Partnern, um Potenziale zu bewerten
Du bist für alle relevanten Koordinationsaufgaben rund um das Onboarding potenzieller Partner verantwortlich
Du arbeitest eng mit funktionsübergreifenden Teams wie Sales, Einkauf, Logistik und Finanzen zusammen, um einen kohärenten und effektiven Ansatz für die Geschäftsentwicklung im Bereich Handelswaren sicherzustellen
Du sammelst Kundenfeedback und integrierst es in Geschäftsstrategien, um eine kontinuierliche Verbesserung und Ausrichtung an den Erwartungen der Partner zu gewährleisten
Du führst Marktforschung durch und bleibst auf dem Laufenden über Branchentrends, um neue Geschäftsmöglichkeiten zu erkennen
Du koordinierst dich mit den Operations-Leitern, um maßgeschneiderte Lösungen für potenzielle Partner zu entwickeln
Du agierst als Markenbotschafter für Buying Labs, zeigst Leidenschaft und Begeisterung für die Vision des Unternehmens und trägst diese Motivation nach außen

Dein Profil

Mindestens 3-5 Jahre relevante Berufserfahrung im Bereich Business Development
Ergebnis- und prozessorientiert als Business Development Manager, idealerweise im Online-B2B-, Fashion- oder Accessoires-Bereich
Ein bestehendes Branchennetzwerk ist wünschenswert
Hervorragende Organisationsfähigkeit und die Fähigkeit, selbstständig zu arbeiten und in einem schnelllebigen Umfeld Prioritäten zu setzen
Bereitschaft, in einer Scale-up-Atmosphäre die Ärmel hochzukrempeln
Bereit für gelegentliche Reisen, um Kunden und Lieferanten zu treffen, an Branchenevents teilzunehmen und neue Geschäftsmöglichkeiten zu erkunden
Fließende Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
