We're seeking an ambitious Team Lead Beauty (m/f/d) for our evolving beauty division at our Hamburg headquarters. In this pivotal role, you'll leverage your strategic thinking, market analysis, and persuasive power to drive category growth and enhance our market positioning. Ideally you will have a strong background in B2B management, deep industry knowledge, and a passion for beauty trends.

Your Mission

Identifying growth opportunities within the Beauty category and driving initiatives that increase revenue.
Keeping a close eye on international market trends in perfumery, skincare, haircare and body care, and translating insights into actionable strategies.
Setting and implementing strategically relevant priorities (e.g., target markets, brands, assortments, pricing approaches) to position the team for success and strengthen market presence.
Supporting the international expansion of the Beauty department across Europe, North America, and Asia-Pacific.
Providing functional leadership to a cross-functional team in Buying, Sales and Business Development, covering multiple seniority levels.
Building strong relationships with (premium) beauty suppliers, customers, distributors, and brands — while further developing existing partnerships to ensure smooth, professional collaboration.
Negotiating favorable terms with partners and helping shape pricing approaches that maximize profitability.
Ensuring seamless operations in close alignment with Logistics, Warehouse, Finance and Tech.
Developing and optimizing SOPs to establish clear, efficient and consistent operational processes.
Using relevant KPIs to drive data-based improvements.
Contributing to the budget planning process for the Beauty department.
Staying closely aligned with the management team and maintaining transparent communication on key developments and results.

Your Profile

Growth & Market Expansion: You have experience in developing and executing growth strategies, with a particular focus on expanding into key markets in Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific.
Market & Trend Analysis: You identify global beauty trends early and can thoroughly analyze developments in key segments such as fragrances, skincare and haircare.
Cross-Functional Leadership: You have proven experience in leading and developing high-performing, cross-functional teams of various seniority levels across Buying, Sales and Business Development.
Relationship Management: You maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, distributors and brands, and can strategically advance existing partnerships to drive business success.
Operational Excellence: You work in a structured manner and collaborate closely with Logistics, Finance, Tech and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth operational processes.
Negotiation & Pricing Strategy: You are confident in negotiating commercial terms and can develop pricing strategies that maximize profitability.
Budget & KPI Management: You have experience managing budget-related topics and using relevant KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
Language Skills: You possess fluent English skills, both written and spoken. German skills are nice-to-have but not necessary.

Wir suchen einen ambitionierten Team Lead Beauty (m/w/d) für unsere wachsende Beauty-Unit in unserem Headquarters in Hamburg. In dieser Schlüsselrolle nutzt Du Dein strategisches Denken, Deine Marktanalysefähigkeiten und Deine Überzeugungskraft, um das Wachstum der Kategorie voranzutreiben und unsere Marktposition zu stärken. Idealerweise verfügst Du über fundierte Erfahrung im B2B-Management, tiefgehendes Branchenwissen und eine Leidenschaft für Beauty-Trends.

Deine Aufgaben

Identifizierung von Wachstumspotenzialen innerhalb der Beauty-Kategorie und Vorantreiben von Initiativen zur Umsatzsteigerung.
Beobachtung internationaler Markttrends in den Bereichen Parfum, Skincare, Haircare und Body Care sowie Ableitung relevanter, umsetzbarer Strategien.
Festlegung und Umsetzung strategisch relevanter Prioritäten (z. B. Zielmärkte, Marken, Sortimente, Preisansätze), um das Team optimal zu positionieren und die Marktpräsenz zu stärken.
Unterstützung der internationalen Expansion der Beauty-Abteilung in Europa, Nordamerika und der Asien-Pazifik-Region.
Übernahme der fachlichen Führung eines diversen, hybriden Teams in Buying, Sales und Business Development über verschiedene Senioritätslevel hinweg.
Aufbau starker Beziehungen zu (Premium-)Beauty-Lieferanten, -Kunden, -Distributoren und -Marken sowie Weiterentwicklung bestehender Partnerschaften für eine enge, professionelle Zusammenarbeit.
Verhandlung vorteilhafter Konditionen mit Partnern und Mitgestaltung von Preisansätzen zur Maximierung der Profitabilität.
Sicherstellung reibungsloser Abläufe in enger Zusammenarbeit mit Logistik, Warehouse, Finance und Tech.
Entwicklung und Optimierung von SOPs zur Etablierung klarer, effizienter und konsistenter operativer Prozesse.
Nutzung relevanter KPIs zur Unterstützung datenbasierter Verbesserungen.
Beitrag zum Budgetplanungsprozess der Beauty-Abteilung.

Dein Profil

Wachstum und Marktexpansion: Du hast Erfahrung in der Entwicklung und Umsetzung von Wachstumsstrategien, mit besonderem Fokus auf die Expansion in relevanten Märkten in Europa, Nordamerika und Asien-Pazifik.
Markt- und Trendanalyse: Du erkennst globale Beauty-Trends frühzeitig und kannst Entwicklungen in wichtigen Teilbereichen (z. B. Parfums, Hautpflege, Haarpflege) fundiert analysieren.
Cross-funktionale Führung: Du hast nachweisliche Erfahrung in der Führung und Weiterentwicklung leistungsstarker, funktionsübergreifender Teams verschiedener Senioritätsstufen in den Bereichen Einkauf, Vertrieb und Business Development.
Beziehungsmanagement: Du pflegst vertrauensvolle Beziehungen zu Lieferanten, Kunden, Distributoren und Marken und kannst bestehende Partnerschaften gezielt weiterentwickeln, um den Geschäftserfolg voranzutreiben.
Operative Exzellenz: Du arbeitest strukturiert und eng mit Logistik, Finance, Tech und Lager zusammen und stellst reibungslose Abläufe im operativen Geschäft sicher.
Verhandlung und Preisstrategie: Du bist sicher in Konditionsverhandlungen und kannst Preisstrategien entwickeln, die die Profitabilität maximieren.
Budget- und KPI-Management: Du bringst Erfahrung in der Steuerung budgetbezogener Themen und im Einsatz relevanter KPIs, um kontinuierliche Verbesserungen voranzutreiben.
Sprachkenntnisse: Du hast fließende Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift. Deutschkenntnisse sind wünschenswert aber keine Notwendigkeit.
